I think the dollar has still been accumulated by the
international community, not sold, just not enough dollars
are bought to compensate for the trade deficit. I would not
get long it, regardless of the fact that it is oversold. In
fact, should this accumulation stop and
reverse, the dollar will just crash.
Also, gold investment universe is extremely small - the
market CAP of all gold stocks is still less than one DOW
stock. The value of ALL CB gold on the planet is less than
the market cap of Microsoft, one good day volume in just the
treasury bond market will buy half of all CB gold. There
is much less silver above ground. Talking that gold is
extremely popular is absurd, imho, although it could have
a reaction.
