>>"How many did we have in the two years before?"

>Tiger was stating that we are no safer after the attack. I was trying to get at his reasoning behind that. Do you think the line above justifies Tiger's statement? I don't.
I'd guess that we're a bit safer, but not all that much safer. But I wouldn't go as far as to say that I'm positive of that.

>But the lefties (I am assuming you are one) have a strange sense (or lack) of logic.

Sometimes I'm a lefty, sometimes I'm a righty. Depends on the issue. More lefty than righty, I'd say. I do know that I don't like W. I also know that I don't like any of the Democratic candidates, but that I'd vote for most of 'em over Bush.

>My reasoning in believing we are a bit safer is that we attacked them and hurt them badly and have been disrupting their capabilities to plan and raise money. I would think they would like to make an attack on us if they could.

Who knows? They might still be planning something. Remember, it took about five years to plan the attacks on the WTC and Pentagon. Also, remember that it only cost them $100K to pull off. It doesn't take that much money, just time. If by the end of Bush's second term (which I have little doubt he'll have), we haven't seen another attack on our soil, then I'll be more inclined to agree with you.

>if the dems and the lefties and the America haters don't push America off course the problem can be brought under control in the next 5 to 10 years

It's going to be really tough to convince me that the war on Iraq and losing sight of Afghanistan isn't pushing us off-course already.

>But to Tiger, it is all America's fault anyway I am sure. So I am not even really sure who he is rooting for in the war on terrorism. What side are you on?

Certainly ours, but I have no qualms about disagreeing with how it's being fought. Also, I've hated the name from day one -- how about "War on Al-Qaida" or "War on Islamic Militants" or something?
