<In the meantime, as the dollar goes down, we become more competitive again.>>
A Frenchman comes here to buy a car and we say it costs $12,800 . He says thats only $9,999 EU, perhaps should buy two.
We go to Paris and ask for a hamburger at 5EU, he says it will cost $6.40. cents plus VAT and tip (no mustard), and we tell him what he can do with his hamburger.

good points......and yes i know outsourcing is a way of life...if i was ceo of company xyz i would do what is best for the company and its shareholders for the long term. if this means outsourcing labor overseas, then i do what i have to......

but, doesnt mean i have to like it, and yes, i am concerned at just how much outsourcing is now being done in techville...and it is just getting started....sure, we outsourced since the dawn of free trade, but not like now...now like what lies ahead.....College costs rising to the extreme, with many grads graduating with a pile of debt....and even with no debt....i hope 4 - 7 years of college doesnt leave you with very limited possibilities and a far lower salary....Whats odd, is I am noticing MANY occupations that require no college, paying more, or as much as jobs requiring plenty of schooling......readers digest recently had an article on the subject entitled something like " College: Is The High Cost Worth It?", or something like that, and it discussed much of what i have said above.....In fact, the overall tone of the article was that good paying jobs can be had without college and the article kind of skewed towards recommending no college .......
