Hawk if you can point me to a Security Council vote that the US under Clinton lost on the invasion issue, then it is a topic for debate.

You keep talking about 1441 but then subsequent to that the US lost a Security Council vote. They sought the vote, they lost, they thumbed their noses, went in found nothing to the effect of WMD or nuclear weapons. At least if they went in after the inspectors finished their tasks, had not sought and subsequently lost the Security Council vote then it would be a different story. STATED SIMPLY, it is Bush' arrogance, period. Clinton was not arrogant. He worked with the world. Even Jim Baker and Bush Sr. worked with the world leaders.

It is this Administration that has failed miserably in the foreign policy front. Let us look at history and not fail to see a similar situation which triggerred a World War. I am sure Hitler and his men came up with all the right reasons to do what they did, march into the countries of the world with total disregard for others.

By the way did you read about any progress on the aftermath of Jim Baker's visit to Europe for the Iraqi debt issue. I haven't. If you have please post a link where we could pick up on the news. You could post it on your thread too. I still visit your thread though I am not allowed to post there during this "timeout"
