But if one of these nutcases does manage to set off a dirty bomb in America (G-d forbid) I - and I suspect you - have concluded that we will not really get serious until something else of major proportions happens. Too bad. But half the country will not face up to it at the moment. We should not be surprised. We have a similar political split to Israel, and look how long it took them. Although I think they would have settled matters long ago except for external pressure.
