Yogi, that is why the statistics are so poor on options - the timing is key. I bought a few last spring, and lost my arse on everyone. In hindsight it was stupidy on my part. The only right thing I did was limit my purchases and thus the damages. I am going in here, lightly I might add for two reasons, (a) I have a lot of profits to play with, from golds, although this isn't reason to throw it away. It just gives me more latitude. (b) The odds of a market going to the heavens from here have to be minimal. Too many indicators are too stretched. LT options should give one a chance for some leveraged profits, which I plan to take if they come around. If we get into a long term DT, I'll take profits and roll some forward.
