It was news to me too.

So far no headaches from anybody and I can't detect the "rainbows" either and I was looking for them.

The details of what is actually happening in microseconds with all those infinitesimal mirrors was fascinating.

It's interesting what you find out after you do the dd and still are surprised.

Similar to the story that recently was written by an irate technology column writer who had discovered that after the 500th or so recharging, his beloved ipod wouldn't recharge any more and the battery couldn't be replaced and the only way to continue to enjoy his ipod, to which he admitted he had become addicted, was to buy a brand-new ipod. He wrote the column as a warning to all ipod aficionados and to get even with Apple for this dastardly deed.

I just hope I don't get any more surprises. We get the HDTV hookup this Wed. so the true test for me will be watching West Wing in HDTV that evening.

BTW, the TI chip contains RDRAM, I believe.
