I think all the action is in Guangzhou at the moment (although I think Hong Kong is screening 30 pneumonia cases who have returned from Guangzhou - although I'm not sure that 30 is an unusually high number), but it sounds like the biggest problem is screening delays.

I think that over the holidays there are 1.89 BILLION trips in China and I heard that at one train station the line for tickets was 3 MILES long. They are also recommending arriving 6 HOURS prior to departure due to screening delays.

I suspect there will soon be more suspect cases, but you are probably OK for the next few days.

Jay, I may have spoken too soon. The third Guangzhou SARS case with confirmatory lab data has been reported to Hong Kong

So far all are young with confirmatory lab data, and unlinked, which means there are MANY more.

WHO still touring and taking pictures. These guys are unreal.
