here is a post from congress.org that essentially mimics my pov, its a little extreme because it says that if HP, Oracle produce offshore and sell here they should be tarriffed on re-entry. I don't think too many folks support that. But realistically what we have here with Oracle, HP etc is a form of dumping on US markets by asian companies that claims to be US companies. Intel recently made a claim that over 60% of their employees are US- which I don't believe. They use offshore consulting houses like Satyam to hide their true offshore employment base. They are requesting them more tax breaks! What! This is outrageous! They were given tax breaks because it would create American jobs. They are now arguing they still want our hard earned tax monies to grow their profits and CEO salaries, while America becomes a Third World country. Their behavior and argument is so so self interested with no care for the state of our country! Corporate greed is out of control! They will dismantle this country unless YOU strongly believe and protect our country and our citizens from such abuse. I do not want our tax dollars to be used to support corporate R&D for these anti-american, unpatriotic corporation, HP, IBM, Intel, Cisco, etc.. Seriously, they want to produce offshore, then their products should be tariffed on reentry. ] Hmmmm, who is the largest food producer....? America! Who has the most beautiful landscapes..? America! Where has most innovation for these new products come from, American Engineers! As Carly Fioni from HP put it: ``There is no job that is America's God-given right any more. We have to compete for jobs as a nation,'' said Carly Fiorina, HP's chair and chief executive officer I say they don't have any God-given right to expect this country to give them any tax breaks!!! These CEO's since they believe their own BS should then go ahead and move themselves and the corporate structures to the sand dunes! They are not American Patriots! We talk about Terrorism, are they any better by weakening our country subversly, or are they so blinded by greed that they no longer are thinking rationally?! I am outraged at this article and their so called scare tactic. This country has survived before and can do it again. I am asking that you please support the working middle class, (actually where you are as well, and will soon be), and keep the use of our tax dollars only for corporations that produce dignified American jobs.
