Firstly, Saddam may have had WMD. If he had them it was because of the aid given this despot by Reagan, Rumsfeld, and Bush I. Now suddenly he's the enemy? He should have never been coddled and supported in the first place. The US emboldened Saddam. Reagan and Bush are responsible for his despotism. By the time Bush was rattling the sabers of war, there was intelligence indicating that Saddam was not a threat, very strong intelligence that the imminent threat rouse was just that, a rouse. This information and intelligence was muted, while the intelligence that indicated he may, and I stress may have WMD was amplified. That's the same as lying when you use that information to justify a war. Secondly, it's very likely that a quiet revolution could have occurred in Iraq. We'll never know because Bush did not take the high road of diplomacy and multi-lateralism. He chose the road of uni-lateral war. I don't need a calculator to see whose hands the blood is on. The blood is on the hands of Reagan, Bush I and Bush II. Orca
