We need to fund better technology at borders in order to detect illegals as they approach & additional number of guards. Organizations such as the U.S Chamber of Commerce have placed enormous pressure on Bush Adm to do nothing about the illegal situation because their members have found an easy way to become even wealthier on backs of slave labor while eroding entire wage scale in the country. That's the reason high-end retailers had better than average Christmas while low-end had dismal results. Rich getting richer & vice versa. Those who never consider voting for any political party other than the one they were taught to support in religious-like fashion, just contribute to the problem, since they never exert political pressure with their automatic vote for Republicans.
