I think we are heading into a very interesting period as you point out.

The semi-equips were stagnant in price from early September last year until the end of December. This is documented in post:

During that 16 week period, earnings estimates have been increasing for many of the stocks within the Group. What has happened is that PEG ratios have been decreasing. This can be seen by comparing the PEG's in September with those of this past week.

With the earnings reports starting to come out in the next couple of weeks, and most importantly, the spin by the CEO's for the future earnings, IMO the semi-equips have a lot of "room to run".

Hard to say what will happen, but I think we could see another price "spurt" for the Group at the bottom line. The trick is to find the big winners.
