About 2 1/2 months ago I bought two CD's an investor opportunity and commodity CD. Both are a basket of a few countries and offered considerably higher interest rates in addition to being out of the US dollar. I don't know, however how to determine what my return is on the CD until it reaches maturity at 6 months. I asked whether I could follow the CD's online and they said they were not set up for it but wanted to have it as an option in the future.

I assume you are estimating your return based on the movement of the dollar versus New Zealand.
