Hitler again? Goodness, his name is flung into the conversation a lot by RWers! Is the reason they're playing (and pretending) Hitler-Gotcha with MoveOn that the right thinks it should have a monopoly on comparisons to Hitler? FOUL! 1. It was the left, not the right, that dragged Adolph into this. MoveOn, remember? They did in fact have a potential ad submitted which did in fact imply Bush was the new updated 3rd millennium version of the German dictator. 2. Hitler is the seminal Bad Guy of the 20th century. Who else do others get compared to? Doctor Salk? Mother Teresa? :-) At some point I concluded he was, it was my impression, a paranoid of some sort. (Disclosure: I am not a health care professional.) Disclosure: I am not a health care professional. If any such dispute what I say below, they should return their degrees to their colleges and their licenses to the state. Paranoid? That just touches the beginnings of it. And by itself does not begin to plumb the depths of the problem. There are plenty of nutso RW posts on SI, btw. I am well aware of this. Solidarity with my fellow stormtroopers prevents me from saying more. :-)
