Yes, we can agree to disagree. The stated goals of NCLB sound great when you read the promotional material. But I am highly skeptical of what the results will be when first of all it is underfunded and second of all it will highlight the failure of many inner city schools, thus increasing the call for vouchers as an alternative, which will starve further the inner city public schools of funds. I don't see that scenario as having good results for the kids in those inner city schools. Bottom line is I don't think it will be used as a way to improve upon the public school system but to undermine it.
