orca, Ike had, only, advisors in Nam. JFK sent in combat troops by the thousands. He wanted out when he saw the mess that was being made of that war, but he had already crossed the line. LBJ is the worst of the offenders, and when the pressure of that was brought to bear, he ducked, and ran.

You can call it a "bunch of bull" about the Clintons if you want, but you are deluding yourself. It did happen. Wake up and smell the truth.

I know a lot of military men that were in when the Clintons' took over, and some were high ranking officers. Regardless of what the press may have said, or the liberal crap sheets that you, obviously, read, the military was severely debilitated by the Clinton administration. The pay was low, which in fact, Bush has raised. Clinton block money needed to keep our equipment in working order, and many bases were closed, that were in strategic locations. The morale of the military was at an all time low, because of the shafting they were getting from the Clintons. Believe what you want, but I will believe the facts from the horses mouth.

I was not speaking of G.H.W. Bush. He was so hindered by a considerable democrat majority in Congress, that there was little he could do. Admittedly, he went along with the missile defense program for awhile out of respect for Reagan.

The Bush I was talking about in the last post, was our present President. We are the core of NATO, and all of the other countries are hangers on, so when they try to foil any of our projects, we need to ignore them. Just like the UN, they are, basically, useless. The UN should be kicked out of the US, and then let's see how well they fare then.

The worst thing a strong nation can do, is consider a one world government. In such a case, we become just another sheep in the flock, and lose our sovereign status.

As long as Saddam is alive, there is a danger of increased attacks, some of which, may be directed at our homeland. After we have wrung out all of the information he has, regardless of the tactic needed to do so, he should be shot by a firing squad. Then his followers will have no one to follow. We must find, and kill Bin Ladin, like a rabid dog. The network of caves that are available to him, are like the honeycomb of a bee hive. It will take time, and effort, to finally bring him to his doom.

Think what you will. America is far more respected than it was during the liberal occupation of the White House. Maybe a lot of them don't like us, but piss on them.
