I HAVE read his work and he IS incompetent. Unfortunately, his hubris that passes for economics (old-fashioned 20th-century attempts to justify socialism) is still relied on by the anti-American Democrats to push their class-hatred agenda and fool the shrinking population of patsymckee-like morons, who love to substitute bitterness, resentment, and their own failures, for economic reason. The inflation/employment "tradeoff" has not just been debunked academically, but more than once in actual American history (the Reagan Boom, the Bush Boom, and contrasted with the Clinton/Rubin deflationary disaster) since we collectively turned our backs on babbling idiots like Paul Samuelson...
