I suspect you would. I am more "conservative" than you are.

I guess you didn't accept me at my word that my choice wasn't the lesser of two evils but the lesser probability that the socialist evil could carry the day. <g>

As for your being more "conservative," you're more traditionalist and conformist than I am, but otherwise not more conservative, IMO. I'll stack my aversion to nationalizing health care, unions, groupism, PC, redistribution of the wealth, etc. up against yours any day.

I think the Church going Family types are more the backbone of the country.

I don't disagree with that. I just don't want them getting too full of themselves codifying their purely religious values as law of the land nor do I want to encourage intolerance of any sort. To continue our success, we need to move forward with science and ideas--creativity and curiosity--into the global arena and into the future. I can't choose between a flat-earth/moralistic millstone and a bleeding-heart/anti-market millstone. I find them equally disadvantageous.
