it is even worse here, in TX. this is the land of on-road SUVs. many parking lots you go into, that's all you see--a bunch of soccer moms at the helm of Suburban or Excursion land yachts. at least they drive slowly. unlike their teenage kids who will be driving them in ten years and demolishing the lightbody cars of people who drive fuel-efficient vehicles.

I'm in your camp loantech. My caravan is now 10 years old. We keep the maintainence up, good brakes and rubber and it has never let us down. Its comforting, when you can drive down the road in the middle of a pack of fancy shmancy cars with your dirty old beater and know that you are the one in charge;----- WHY cause you don't give a hoot, so get out a my way buddy I'm switching lanes. We don't even have to lock it. scott
