At this point, it looks like it is Japan which is the last global defender of the international value of the once mighty US Dollar. When Japan breaks, and it will, the US Dollar will fall fast against the Yen. Once it does that, it will fall even further against all stronger currencies.

THERE IS NOTHING PRESIDENT BUSH CAN DO TO STOP THIS.

Well, there is something. He could tell My Clownboy, Greenspan over at the Fed to raise his interest rates from their present 1% to 3.5- 4% - just for starters. President Bush could do that - but he won't.

GZ, I'm sure you know why he won't do that.
