<<SA golds may take a different course.>>

Unless you've done it already. nsp (in which case,if you could give me some references) would like to hear more from you on that...I'm a little bamboozled there......one reason why I've had my doubts about your DROOY....

My doubts - and confusion - revolve around the currency issue.......the pretty sharp up-move in the Rand lately. Won't that keep a lid on POG in rands, and therefore on sales and earnings of companies such as DROOY expressed in rands??.......Guess those would look better when translated back into dollars, but not clear to me how all this would stack up. and how to assess the net picture.....Do you look at DROOY, BTW, based on earnings expressed in dollars, or in rands??............(As you can see, I'm toiling with a bit of confusion here).....TIA

(Of course.....I always portray myself as a strictly TA man, so maybe I should just forget about these complications, and just follow the dollar price charts for DROOY and other SAs...........g)

NS, thanks for your generous input. One thought - just to be kept on the back burner. Often enough individual patterns can be key to larger counts. I am not sure about this one, but I can't help seeing the decline of HUI from 12/2 to 12/23 as a sharp, but corrective zigzag, maybe a double zigzag.

Now, if that decline was a "three" - and the subsequent rally (to Jan 6) was also a "three" - we can expect a "five" down to complete a Flat. Alternatively, if we keep making "three's" up and down in a narrowing (or ascending) range - we should be on a lookout for an evolving triangle (which would have implications for the larger count).
