i was the third or fourth person to bookmark this forum when you first started it. i have read every post here. i can't tell you how much this forum has helped me to understand economics much better than i did before.

needless to say, i appreciate your debate with Mish very much. i'm sure that i'm not alone in that respect. All you guys (too many to list) that post on this thread have my respect, no matter what side of the debate you're on.

i have even gone outside SI to post the URL to this forum. i think it is that good. there are new perspectives being posted here almost daily, that i don't believe one could find in any other place on the net.

so yes, i and most likely many, many others 'give a hoot' about this debate. i'm in PM stocks, and yet this might be a more valuable forum than the ones that are dedicated to PMs.

so... here's hoping that the debate continues, because if it does, we are all winners for following it..
