Hey, I saw a FOXnews guest claim these weapons could have been used against us during our recent military campaign. How? At least from the photos I saw not much of these weapons seemed intact, lots of leakage and spillage. Perhaps had the US presidents--yes, including Clinton--not been so hellbent, those weapons could have been disposed of properly.

Just thinking out loud, here's a wild thought.

I wonder if all the pressure put upon Clinton over Monica was actually designed to make it impossible for him to deal with matters concerning Iraq. In other words, he couldn't appear both soft on Monica and soft on Saddam.

Maybe the GOPwingers really didn't care whether he was hard on Monica, so long as he stayed hard on Saddam. Ironically, perhaps the GOPwingers were hoping that Clinton himself would have invaded Iraq in order to get the Monika moniker off his back.

I always thought that the whole Monica Lewinsky scandal deeply inhibited Clinton's ability to act forthrightly on many matters, including Iraq.

It is the news responsibility to report. Some have failed this discovery of WMD's.

But according to the London Sunday Telegraph, Ali Nimir, a former colonel in an Iraqi Republican Guard artillery unit, had also confirmed the find.

"I remember seeing boxes of these kinds of armaments in our base two years ago," Nimir said. "We were told that they were chemical weapons."

"They were removed from our bases and distributed to secret hiding places about a year before the war," he explained. "I never saw them again."
