And I told you I knew the insurance industry intimately. You have no idea what you are talking about or talked your son out of. Damn shame for you to be 72 years old here shortly and so ignorant about so many things. Even more shameful is to have infected your son with your peculiar brand of negativity and gloom & doom "father knows best, sonny" brand of paternalism...shame indeed. Hope your son lives long enough past your crossover to make some of his own decisions and ALSO to find out to his betterment, Chispas did NOT know everything. I truly hope he survives anyhow and still has the opportunity to make better choices than the ones you made for him all his young life and now obviously into his adult/family man years. The parent is supposed to be the enabler, not the hobble.
