Diet does not mean not eating.' - hmm, quite the line, that .... well, diet to me means not having to chew rocks, for one thing ... also when you eat a bean taco, you can decide whether to have it simple, or with salsa, or with chutney, or some fish on the side, whatever - it's a personal choice of the moment, not a regimen you want to elect every four or six years ..... but maybe i mean Religion Inc, not small-r religion, which in some forms can be reasonably inclusive ..... got to draw a line somewhere though - as a purely practical matter, there simply are not enough forests left to supply stakes and fuelwood for the rule of a Torquemada .... it might be hard to find anyone without some form of religion, especially if you include political ideology in the term [yes, arguing against myself, not to worry, pay no attention to the bonobo climbing the curtain] I just tripped over the name and address of the next-door neighbour to a friend who lives thousands of miles away, while googling for something completely, totally unconnected [different subject, different continent] .... small world
