I twist nothing. But unlike you, I can read with understanding. Tideglider was responding to this post:

Edwards implies that, given the immorality of this inequity, something needs to be done about it and that he is the man for the job. He implies that he wants to eliminate the inequity so that either the 35 million poor can get anything they want anytime they want it, or that no one can.

It is a barbarous position, and Tideglider pointed out the hypocrisy of it.
