Good. Evil. Life. Death. Mortality I understand that the Author was a major Christian. That comes through. I look at the "Celebrity Lefties" from a "process" angle. Ever since Fonda, they have been a major irritant to the Right's base. Always good for rousing the faithful and fundraising. Social Conservatives dislike their personal morals. They read about them avidly in the media, and get great satisfaction from deploring the way they live. I think the amount of money the Left raises because of them is more than offset by the enraged voters on the right who think that all of the left have the same morality and turn out to vote them down. The "Woody Allen" story is repeated over and over as a prime example of what is wrong with the left.
