"As for your links, please be reminded that both Bush AND now Powell have said there is no proof to a Saddam/Al-Qaeda connection."

Aye, there's the rub. Your article distorted what Powell
said. I used Powell's own words on the subject.

Show me where Bush or Powell actually said there is
no "proof" to a Saddam/Al Qaeda connection. Powell clearly
made a direct connection between Iraq & Al Qaeda in his UN
speech. Are you saying that Powell's dicsuccion of
Zawahiri was not made?

"My presentation on the 5th of February when I talked to
this issue made it clear that we had seen some links and
connections to terrorist organizations over time, and I
focused on one particular case, Zawahiri, and I think that
was a pretty solid case."<font size=3>

You are using biased media reporting as your evidence. How
about going right to the source & use Bush or Powell's own
words in proper context? You will find that media biased
reporting & factual reality are two different things.

And keep in mind that both Bush & Powell (or anyone in the
Bush Admin) cannot publicly discuss the classified papers
that were leaked to the public, but have been affirmed by
the CIA as genuine.

"I assume they know more than you do and won't waste time reading those links."

I can understand why. They provide irrefutable "proof"
from the CIA of multiple connections between Saddam & Al
Qaeda over more than 10 years.

Cling to your perception of reality if you wish. Keep
using biased, distorted media reports as your version of
truth & reality. And by all means, do not read what Bush
Admin officials actually say, in their own words & in
proper context.

It might change your mind & allow you to make reality
based conclusions rather than reinforce your inflexible
ideological POV that has no basis in reality.
