I've never said that we should support or agree with everything Bush has done or do nothing. I was answering a poster who often seems to say that everything is Bush's fault, everything is part of a conspiracy created by a secret government agenda. I've certainly posted my own criticisms of the Bush administration and the way the war in Iraq was PR'd.

Yet - I still say that doing nothing is not the answer.

Looking the other way when a tyrant kills, rapes, tortures, maims hundreds of thousands or maybe millions of Muslims in his own country and in his neighborhood, supports terror, pays suicide bombers, etc., is not something I'd support. I'm pleased that Saddam is not in power and most Americans feel the same way.

The PR, the emphasis on WMD, the emphasis that there was a strong connection between OBL and Saddam, all are legitimate criticisms. I also agree with you that if our resources have been harmed by going into Iraq, then I will agree that it was the wrong action at the wrong time. I believe the jury is still out on this issue and I look forward to some real debate on this issue in the campaign.
