That's a pretty bold statement -- and unsubstantiated at that. I hate to be put in a position of defending business schools, but...

As a counter example FedEx was created as an assignment in such a class at Yale (for which Smith received a 'C'). Smith fell in love with his idea (more than his professor did apparently), raised the money and started the company.

As a new idea, and as a successfully built company, FedEx ranks up there with Dell or Microsoft.... Taking an entrepreneurship class certainly does not guarantee success, but neither does it preclude success.
