' ... Nor call too loud on Freedom
To cloak your weariness.
By all ye will or whisper,
By all ye leave or do,
The silent sullen peoples
Shall weigh your God and you.

A motley collection of unwashed ingrates, aren't we .... and not so silent any more either - seems to us that if you buy this Burden of the NeoWhiteMan, you might better get first a majority of the white boys onside before launching the project ..... but oh no, that would involve dialogue, the provision of sound argument before rolling the tanks, even perhaps having to pretend to listen! ...... Sig, your rulers have swept aside the concept of borders as applicable to Themselves, you go straight out and ask the populations of those you mention how they feel about that, i dare ya

Years ago Steven Rogers had articles posted on that boondocksnet.com site ..... don't know if they're still there, but if they can be found they're quite good, lots of details on filipina history, with some pretty clear thinking .... i still haven't bought this issue of Foreign Affairs, haven't been near the only place it is likely available around here, but it has in it an SR piece [which hasn't been discussed here, which is no doubt yet another effect of the neocon Greater Evil, that's what happens when someone swings a two by four at a game of dominoes]
