Nope, I think that O'Neil will likely say that he:

1. didn't realize the paper was in the stack of 19,000 pieces
2. blame it on an aide
3. didn't realize that it wasn't for public consumption
4. whatever else he needs to say to deflect criticism

He is, after all, both a former CEO and a pol. That is what they do, where HAVE you been?

Frankly, this says as much about the porous nature of the WH and Shrubbery's poor administration of his employees if this is indeed some kind of TOP SECRET document that shouldn't have see the light of day for several years.

I also think it's telling that the Rove minions are working overtime to paint O'Neil as a disgruntled employee in the hopes of mitigating some of the damage he's inflicted on them. The CBS thing came out, when, last night? They were on the offensive IMMEDIATELY. Guess they are seriously worried and an intelligent person would ask...why are they this worried?

After all, O'Neil was ONE OF THEM. Ooops.

Isn't it ironic that the democraps were calling for O'Neil's head when he was Treasury Secretary, but now he is anti- Bush, he is their new darling.

As Ann Coulter said, all a Republican has to do to gain favor with the liberal press is attack a Republican President. Proof once again she was right!

To begin with ANYONE who would keep 19,000 documents relating to their job at home has to have SEVERE MENTAL PROBLEMS. I think that fact alone says all I need to know about O'Neil. However, to think, that an AMERICAN would release documents stamped right on the face as SECRET on TELEVISION of all places really disgusts me. If you or I did that we would be UNDER THE JAIL. I think he should be investigated, he's obviously deranged. Now the question is, is he dangerous to the security of the USA. jdn
