"I am truly, sincerely interested in what it would take to shake your faith in GW and/or Republican party?"

He would have to take our country in a direction that I did not like. Believe it or not, I am not in lockstep with the repubs. But their world view is far closer to mine than the semi-socialist and anti 2nd amendment demos. I am a fairly law ans order type of guy, and I think taking care of problems like terrorism and Saddam is exactly what are gov't is supposed to do imo.

"Our President suggests we should reward lawbreakers for convenience of low-wage hungry employers(his base)--evidently fine with you"

I'm a bit on the fence about this. Something needs to be done about the illegals, and having them be documented provides a way to kick people out who do not check in. I have serious doubts that we will do that, but the registration part is good. What is your solution to the problem?

"but when a man & his political party turn their backs on average Americans"

He believes, as I do that the average American is a pretty capable being, and does not need the gov't to provide for them. Our country is great because it allows people to prosper, not because our government gives things to people. The gov't is supposed to protect us, and he is doing a great job at that. If you think that we cause terrorism (not saying that you do), as many do then his policies seem heavy handed. But it is not coincidence that North Korea, Libya, Iran, Pakistan, India and others are starting to be a bit more reasonable.

"BUT now that wealthiest Repubs have betrayed the American people in order to become even wealthier"

This is just plain silly. How has he done this iyo? Betrayed the people? What a joke.
