well, the three things I think are most important in this election are 1) somebody who is resistant to rush to war, 2) somebody who is a budget hawk and anti-pork, 3) somebody who at least questions trade agreements.

As long as the dems put up somebody like that I am confident they will win. The only dem who does NOT fit this profile is Lieberman. He can't win. Others like Dean or Kerry imho can win. They need to differentiate themselves from Bush as the key point.

BTW Arnold who is a republican is doing a good job in my state and if there were ever a time that he could run for president (there isn't I know) then I would consider Arnold. So you see it is not Bush's republican party I don't like. It is BUSH, the man.
