GOLD Market:
The "Central Fund of Canada" premium/discount ratio should exceed 25% to signal that this market may have reached maturity for the short term.  Friday's reading came in at 9.68% premium.   Readings between 5% and 10% have produced good buying opportunities for gold stocks in general.  Gold stocks tops comes in a blow off type pattern and become extreme "Frothy".  Judging by the premium percentage and other sentiment indicators, it does not appear a top of any significance is forming here.  We have an upside target near the 2/23/97 swing high near the 123 level on the XAU.   Gold may reach near the 450 level on this run.
