We can never know the "facts" on this. We can guess at the intentions.

We can only quickly change NK by getting the Chinese to put in a different Government if they want it. Some NK Bureaucrats that will tend to local business. If we hit them and invade, we will have to pull out eventually. Then they will end up with a "Chinese friendly " Leader anyway.

We can hope that "Dear Leader" pulls a "Kaddafi." But that's doubtful. We will go in, IMO, only if an NK Nuke is used against us.

What is hopeful is what is happening. By standing firm against the pressure to appease them again, we have made them come to us.
