Dean has lost his teflon and now has to really run honest races. The races are certainly heating up everywhere. Even if Dean finishes an OK #1 in Iowa and NH his problems are far from over as he's unlikely to do well in other parts of the country. Clark is overtaking him in many places. But watch John Kerry in Iowa. He has been climbing for days now and may make it a three-man race for first place. If that happens he could be sling-shotted back into NH and re-grab what he's lost lately by not being there plus a lot more. You could even have a three-man race in NH. Dean is really feeling the heat now. He could lose Iowa and only narrowly win NH. That would dump cold water all over his parade.

In NBA terms, Clark is getting a reputation as the Yao Ming of this campaign season. He's new in the league and might as well be from a different country;

Yao Ming finished second in the race for Rookie of the Year honors. <gg>
