Hi Yogi. Yes, that was the only possible reversal/bottom signal I saw. But, I wasn't convinced because there was another one very similar to it just a few days ago. This is an interesting time to watch<G>. I will bottom fish. Thanks.

Dollar is still fundamentally weak. The government is still growing the paper money supply. The lower trade deficit was good news but was the result of a weaker dollar. If the dollar went up much the deficit would probably grow larger again. Also there are limits as to how low the budget deficit can go since China has a fixed exchange rate to the dollar. So a weaker dollar doesn't help with the Chinese trade deficit.
The budget deficits have to be monetarized. That means more US debt and more dollars in circulation.
Also the government has IOUs for Social Security and Medicare. The Baby Boomers are nearing retirement age.
