How can Howard Dean's assertion that the capture of Saddam hasn't made us safer be dismissed as bizarre

It certainly didn't make us safer in Iraq: "More Americans were killed and wounded in the four weeks after Saddam's capture than in the four weeks before." And didn't we go to "Code Citrus Fruit" right after Saddam's capture here in the US?

No doubt the media is attempting to smear Dean on orders from the Bush Junta but that's just to deflect everyone's attention from Bush's lies.
