On page 5, you will find it clearly stated that GDP is a measure of "the market value of goods and services produced by labor and property located in the United States."

I am not disputing that. I just think it is going to be VERY DIFFICULT to determine how much of production is US in something that is produced here and in india with all these offshore teams. If somebody asked me how much of applied materials goods and services are produced in the US I couldn't tell you, about all I know is that most of their products used to be made here, and now they have a skeleton crew in the US and way more people in india. And I know the company Applied Materials well. However the fed gets this data I suspect the polltakers are going to have the same problem. And imo they are erring on the US side right now.
