<<Favre, who hopes to avoid surgery on his broken right thumb, said he will put off retirement for at least a year because he sees such promise in Green Bay.>>
nytimes.com

JB is out of line.
Favre was obviously holding back his pain until the season ended.
He even said before hand, it is when he doesn't have the next game to keep him going that he feared he would just fall apart emotionally.
JB, that was a cheapshot---and you KNOW it.

You take this all just a bit too serious don't you Gloop ?

A bit sensitive are we ?

I asked you what the thinking or talk in GB was about Favre AND Green refusing to speak to the press; nothing more, nothing less.

You win with style and class pal

Just as important is to lose with style and class; so go preach to Favre and Green, ok?

As for your opinion of me personally, I truly couldn't care less.

JB

Andy Reid response to Favre silence
<<"I know how competitive he is," said Reid, who served as a Packers assistant coach from 1992 to 1998. "I know that hurts. He takes a lot of responsibility on his shoulders, and I thought about that afterward. But that's part of the game, and he'll be back out there next year firing away.">>
Andy Reid also said when questioned about all the coaches that got jobs out Green Bay, like Reid himself, said << Come on, we all know why that happened, it is thanks to our having Brett Favre as the Packer quarterback>>
