Henry, New Zealanders are all over the map like a rash. John Christie perhaps went through China to get to Yekaterinburg [though I have no idea where in Russia that is]. It's not much of claim to fame to be the first person to die of sars in 2004. I survived it [that's my theory anyway] with only a minor black-laced clear sputum cough [which took 2 full weeks to run its course, not the usual week to 10 days]. I hadn't had such a cough for many years. Son now en route to Canada to deliver the latest Beijing version.

Do you think people necessarily get a high temperature with the infection?

Cat's out of the bag by the look of it.
