Hans Blix interview
Excellent reporting and full of honesty
In summary, tho, he still hasn't got a clue as to what Saddam did with the old supplies of WMD's ,the 6000 missing warheads etc, except he buried a few shells left over from 1991.
Can you accept Saddams word alone that he destroyed them ?
I have not heard that prisoners being questioned have stated that to be the case, and conversely one defector said WMD's had been distributed to the troops.
Still looking for the truth or the proof on those Wmd's
Sig

GST, did you notice that in this interview Blix admitted that he was, in fact, dependent on defector testimony to find weapons systems? For example, UNSCOM had had no idea that Iraq had weaponized biological agents and a BW program until Hussein Kamel defected and spilled the beans. They hadn't a clue how advanced the nuclear program had been either.

Now, Blix tries to downplay what was learned, but it was not small. There was a lot of information in the 70,000 WMD program documents that the regime "suddenly" discovered on a farm when Hussein Kamel defected.

On the face of it, an inspection program that hasn't a clue about the existence of major weapons programs until a defector tells them about it, is an inspection program that is easily duped. Even Blix cannot deny it, for all his ass-covering. Does he claim to know what happened to all the stuff that was unaccounted for?
