The Iraqi war aside Bush will be remembered as the worst President on all time once the economic birds come home to roost.

Politically - yes as Dick Cheney said deficits don't matter but to the average Joe - yes they do. Never mind the other problems. The wheels are about to come off the American economy - if it happens soon enough Bush won't get elected. Otherwise it will destroy his standing during the second term.
