This made me laugh: Message 19687640 When I first heard all the hoopla about alleged early planning to invade Iraq, I knew it was contingency planning stuff, as would anyone with half a brain. Last night Robert Reich was on O'Reilly and was touting the fact that the public is so clever and can see through lies. yeah, right. That's why the comments in O'Neill's book made the rounds the way they did. An educated--or moderately intelligent-- public is the last thing some politicians want....JMO I've seen the same techniques used on juries in closing arguments. not that I would do such a thing...LOL
