Actually, I believe the NIE mentioned Madagascar.... Oh yeah, the famous aught two NIE that is currently the subject of so many papers within the intelligence community - all trying to figure out what went wrong. If you let a political agenda mold an intelligence document, then the result has been vitiated as a policy tool. Big surprise. BTW, keeping my "eye on the ball", if you come by any solid evidence (or even a good rumor) about the source of the forgeries, let me know. Personally, I'm not buying Sy Hersh's argument that they were made by disgruntled intelligence agents to embarrass Cheney and Wolfowitz. JMO lurqer
