They may not have liked each other but they were always on the same side. Hamas, Hezbola and other terrorist organizations had bases in Iraq, as did al Qaeda to a lesser degree. The transfer of WMD to terrorists was a threat.

Today, most of the violent opposition in Iraq is al Qaeda. They swarmed there over the summer to protect their holy lands. I'm glad we're rooting them out and eliminating them over there and not here.
