Fox news has a foreign reporter perhaps he was an ambassador for Pakistan at one time.. He reported the other night Bin laden is building up for a big fight into Iraq from Iran with chemical rockets. Truck loads of these weapons were taken by the kurds. now they disappeared and they are trying to find out what the kurds did with them.. Initially the kurds were trying to sell them back to Al Q.

He said the rockets could be fired from 50 and 100 miles away. Has anyone seen any more on this subject ?

But even more important, we should also not harbor any illusions that these negotiations can proceed in an atmosphere of calm. Unfortunately, the advent of peace talks is so great a threat to those who have lived too long by terrorism to forsake it that they will continue to kill their own people as well as innocents in order keep those talks from succeeding.

Yes, that is learning from Israel's experience. It's all a matter of trust between Musharraf and the Indian government - and what sort of trust, and how much? Can Musharraf be trusted to keep a deal? Does he have the power, even if he means it? Will he be overthrown?

For the Israelis dealing with Arafat, the answers were No, Yes, and No, unfortunately. That broke the deal. Let's hope it's different with India-Pakistan.

From a purely American point of view, putting all these pressure on the Islamists on some of their home turf has to limit their abilities to hatch plots in Europe and America.
