Again - I have to totally disagree which, despite my reported arrogance, I hate to do <ggg>.

Undertaking a major military operation, in an unfriendly environment, with very little support on the surface, almost no tactical support, the US went in and did an incredible job. I'm not arguing political beliefs. Whether one agrees with the operation or detests it (or any part thereof), one would have to objectively agree that this is anything but a quagmire in light of comparable historical undertakings.

It's easy to look at a story of an RPG attack and post that it is a "quagmire" or "can't win". Remember your likely posts from the first days of the war? Why is it taking longer? They will have to cut and run. Hundreds of thousands of needless deaths. Why are they dug in on the road to Baghdad? Etc., Etc.

We know quagmires. Vietnam was a quagmire. Afghanistan was a quagmire for the USSR. Lebanon was a quagmire for the Israelis. This is not a quagmire.
