Ref Does Intel low end pricing seem like an issue to you?

The margins are at the high end of the historical range. Obviously Intel has a competitive technology advantage ( 300 mm wafer technology) allowing it to lower prices and keep its high margins.

Thus I take it as market share grab for Asia, which we know is positive, since a lot of future PC growth will be in Asia.
